Marsha's GINGER MOLASSES COOKIES

Cream together:
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
 
Add:
2 c. flour
2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. ground cloves
2 t. ginger
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. salt
 
Make balls. Roll in sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes, depending on how chewy or crunchy you want them to be.
