Ginger Creams

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup dark cooking molasses
1 cup shortening
1 cup boiling water
1 T soda in hot water
1 tsp salt, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp cloves
Enough flour so dough doesn't stick to fingers.
Combine ingredients and let stand over night. Roll out and bake in hot oven at 400°.
